Good Hubby

Yes, I did get "one of the good ones". And the reason for this revelation? because of this-a "Lafuma" gravity lounger. It is a sleek, wonderfully comfortable lounger that adjusts itself easily just by shifting your body weight. I have chronic pain issues-knees, hips and back-so he thought, when we are out at the pool, this would be a good place for me to knit/read/snooze.......isn't he cool? It is incredibly comfortable-in fact, I am sitting in it right now with the lap top. I LOVE it. And I love Sean for thinking of it. (by the way, he got flying time-he is a pilot who currently does not have an airplane-he builds custom ones, but doesn't currently own one)
Since the traditional gift for the 13th is lace, and the modern gift is textiles, I think I am going to curl up on my Lafuma with a bit of Sea Silk for a shawl???? Works for me!

Happy Anniversary! I, too, love a guy who loves airplanes! Enjoy the chair, the summer break and the sea silk!

Happy Anniversary! My hubby (of 12 years) recent retired from 25 years in the Air Force, much of that as a fighter pilot. Oddly enough, he doesn't miss airplanes, perhaps because they were always trying to do him in.

As far as hip teachers go - my daughter's Grade 1 teacher is in her mid-fifties, and has been teaching all her adult life - and is a totally cool, stylish, fit and fabulously energetic woman. So hooray for showing the youngsters that one can be fabulous at any age!

Such a thoughtful gift!

Forgot to say how much I love the pic of you and Bear snuggling. I am not sure you could have pic of a more contented dog. So precious.

Happy Anniversary! And congrats on making it through another year of marriage/school. (combo compliment! Probably won't catch on.)

That's a great looking chair. Comfy.
