Just totally and completely bummed. There is no other way to express it. See, it's like this. I work full time in a physically taxing job for me- I teach elementary school. I am also disabled. The biggest issue is chronic pain. I also have mobility issues (I walk with a cane) and I fall over with the least provocation. Most of the time, my bosses have accepted that I have some limitations, but my current one does not. And I am getting grief about it. I won't go into detail, but it has proven to be very tiring. And it is really taking the fun out of teaching, I tell you.
Why is it that some people misuse their authority in such appalling ways?

I don't know, but you find those sorts everywhere. Is there another level of administration that you can talk to (above the principal level) or do you guys have a union to go to bat for you?
Gypsy sez Hi to Bear and sends you fuzzy snuffles.
Ohhhhh.. that sucks! I'm sorry you have to put up with that - there does seem to be a bully in so many workplaces. Surely you have some grounds for a harrassment/human rights complaint? Perhaps through the union?
That's absurd. It's not like you are asking for unreasonable accomodation to do your job. Time to go up a level in administration and/or involve the union, I suspect.
That sucks big time. Do they have laws about that in Canada? Can you go and talk to another administrator or will that just make it worse?
Lots of hugs! Gus and Abby say hi. Pass you along some drool.
No idea. Mean people suck. Sorry to hear you're getting such grief at work. Can you turn them into someone?
